Bruce Dixon

Managing Director 

Appointed Managing Director December 1997. Bruce Dixon has an extensive background in the healthcare sector having held senior positions in both private and public hospitals. Prior to joining Healthscope, he held the position of General Manager for SSL Healthcare Services, a Division of Spotless Services Limited.
 

Vita Pepe

Group Chief Operating Officer

Vita Pepe has been the Group Chief Operating Officer for Healthscope since 2004. Previously, Vita has held roles with the company as National Manager Healthscope Hospitals and General Manager at the Melbourne Clinic. Prior to this, Vita held a number of senior CEO positions in the public health sector.
 

Gary Kent

Chief Financial Officer

Gary Kent joined Healthscope in August 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Healthscope, Gary was CFO of the Coles Group. He held a number of senior finance roles during an extensive career at Coles Myer, including General Manager of Finance at Kmart, General Manager of Finance at Myer and Group Financial Controller.
 

Joe Czyzewski

Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development 

Joe Czyzewski commenced with Healthscope in October 2002 initially in the role of CFO until August 2008 when he was appointed to the position of Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development.

Joe is responsible for the company’s business development activities as well as international operations. Prior to joining Healthscope Joe had an extensive finance career with BHP Billiton Ltd.
 

Sue Williams

Chief Operating Officer - Hospitals

Sue Williams joined Healthscope in 2001 having previously held executive roles within both the private and public health sectors. Since then, Sue has worked in several roles including Manager Workforce Planning, General Manager - The Melbourne Clinic in 2002, National Psychiatric Services Manager in 2003 and Victoria State Manager in 2005.

In January 2008, Sue was appointed as Chief Operating Officer - Hospitals Division.
 

Paul Waterson

Chief Operating Officer - Medical Centres & Pathology

Since joining Healthscope in 2001, Paul has held a number of roles including General Manager of a number of Healthscope hospitals across four different states. In 2005 Paul was appointed State Manager for NSW and ACT with responsibilities for twelve hospitals and four pathology laboratories.

In January 2008, Paul was appointed Chief Operating Officer - Pathology Division. Prior to this, Paul has previously held senior roles within the health industry including the Department of Human Services Victoria Workforce Planning Division.
 

Michael Coglin

Chief Medical Officer

Michael joined Healthscope in 1999. His current role involves executive responsibility for clinical risk management, patient safety, quality and compliance, claims and litigation, medical affairs and public affairs/media relations. He represents Healthscope on a number of bodies including the Private Hospital Sector Committee of the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care. 

For the twenty years prior to his current appointment, Michael held senior posts in medical management in a variety of public hospitals in metropolitan and regional settings in Victoria and the Northern Territory.
 

Maree Feery

National Human Resources Manager

Maree Feery commenced with Healthscope in February 2009 having previously held several senior and executive level Human Resources leadership roles within the health industry. Prior to joining Healthscope, Maree was the Director of Organisational Development at Melbourne Health where she previously had broad experience as Acting Executive Director Human Resources and as the Human Resources Manager for The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
